About the position

We are seeking a skilled Nissei Stretch Blow Molding Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Stretch Blow Molding machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic products. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively, contributing to our commitment to excellence in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stretch Blow Molding machines and ensure optimal performance during production runs.
• Responsible for change over's, setups and processing of parts, materials, colors, etc.
• Monitor machinery operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers to measure product specifications and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training new employees on machinery operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Stretch Blow Molding or related fields such as plastics extrusion or injection molding is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining or materials handling is essential.
• Familiarity with using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is highly desirable.
• A background in a manufacturing environment is beneficial for understanding production processes and safety standards.
