This remote position requires candidates to be barred in New Jersey and located within commuting distance of Newark for potential in-person meetings. The role offers flexible part-time hours ranging from 15 to 25 hours per week for a minimum duration of 6 months, with a pay rate between $75-80 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation in labor and employment matters.
• Draft and review legal documents related to L&E issues.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in preparing for hearings and trials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding case developments.

Requirements

• Must be barred in New Jersey.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Ability to work remotely from New Jersey.
• Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to changing needs.
