About the position

CACI is seeking an experienced Staff Action Officer with Project Manager experience to oversee an enterprise-wide technology implementation. This role requires a subject matter expert who can deliver results by serving as a trusted advisor to contract personnel and government stakeholders, ensuring all activities are executed within the program's scope, schedule, and budget. The position involves direct interaction with Senior DOD leaders and plays a vital role in the Pentagon's National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) office.

Responsibilities

  • Control and guide a group of Subject Matter Experts to complete assigned tasks on time following established guidelines.
  • Provide project reports and briefings using strong writing skills.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee project execution, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead and manage technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness analyses.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson and consultant to government and contracting, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to perform in-depth analysis at all levels of the total system product.
  • Manage the conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that address technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Apply and develop advanced technologies and scientific principles to advance project objectives.
  • Independently resolve complex issues associated with developing and implementing operational programs.
  • Plan and recommend Research and Development programs and technological application initiatives.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Master's degree (MA/MS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of total experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven Project Manager experience handling multimillion dollar programs.
  • Strong writing skills for executive level briefing slides and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of DOD services, components, and stakeholders in Senior leader communications mission domains.
  • Technical expertise with office products (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project for the Web.
  • Preferred experience with evaluating systems, requirements, documents, and projects regarding Federal cybersecurity requirements and FISMA controls.
  • Working knowledge of Pentagon processes and offices.
