About the position
The No. 1 Auto Machine Mechanic at ASR Group is responsible for the maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment in an industrial food facility. This role involves routine maintenance, infield adjustments, and handling complete breakdowns of equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, repair and test complicated mechanical and closely allied equipment on high speed packaging equipment.
- Perform major and difficult repairs to all types of packaging equipment from instruction books, sketches, and other specifications.
- Perform all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Operate high speed packing equipment.
Requirements
- Must have at least two (2) or more years of maintenance/mechanical experience on packaging equipment or two (2) or more years of related maintenance/mechanical experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
