About the position

The SAP SD/SM Consultant role is a full-time position based in Austin, TX, requiring expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and related modules. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP solutions, ensuring integration with other systems and modules, and collaborating with business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
• Perform SAP configurations in the SAP SD area.
• Write functional and technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfaces.
• Implement proposed solutions within predetermined resources, budget, and timelines.
• Work with business users to define scope and gather business requirements.
• Test and rollout the final product to ensure it meets business needs.
• Debug ABAP and provide support for SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, and billing.
• Manage SAP projects with integration to external systems and business partners.
• Provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs.
• Playback designs and system developments to business users.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with SAP projects.
• Experience with S4 HANA is preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Specialized in design and configuration of SAP SD module.
• Good knowledge of SD pricing and account assignment processes.
• Ability to debug ABAP and write detailed specifications for ABAP custom programs.
• Experience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoices.
• Knowledge of SAP iDocs for order induction and integration with other SAP modules.
• Project management experience with SAP projects.
