About the position
The NOC Care Partner role is essential in providing compassionate and innovative care to seniors in a vibrant living community. This position involves assisting elders with daily living activities, monitoring their health, providing emotional support, and engaging them in social and recreational activities. The Care Partner plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents while fostering a supportive and clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Observe, document, and report changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
- Provide emotional support to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges.
- Help elders with meals and possibly feed those who require additional support.
- Support elders in life-enriching social and recreational activities.
- Communicate effectively with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure general cleanliness.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Licensing documentation (if required by state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
