About the position

The Concierge at The Variel of Woodland Hills is responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the front desk, managing incoming calls, and assisting residents, staff, guests, and vendors. This part-time position requires effective communication skills and the ability to perform various clerical duties while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and transfer all incoming calls courteously and professionally.
  • Provide information, direction, and assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Open and close the front desk, securing all files, keys, and equipment.
  • Communicate messages and materials promptly and clearly to the appropriate parties.
  • Accept and record reservations, appointments, and cancellations as directed.
  • Confirm scheduled transportation and event registrations with residents.
  • Greet and assist all persons entering the community in a courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar.
  • Typing skills and experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple routine tasks following specific instructions.
