About the position

The NOC Shift Care Partner plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to elders in a memory care setting. This position involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health, offering emotional support, and engaging residents in social and recreational activities. The Care Partner is essential in fostering a vibrant and supportive community for seniors, ensuring their well-being and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges.
• Help elders with meals and possibly feed those who require additional support.
• Support elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure general cleanliness.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
