NOC Technician (Multiple Shifts)

About the position

The NOC Technician role at Peraton involves providing 24/7 operational and administrative support for a large enterprise environment, including over 5,000 network devices and 6,000 servers. The technician will monitor systems and applications, troubleshoot issues, and manage support requests while working in a shift-based schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support an enterprise environment consisting of over 5,000 network devices and 6,000 servers.
• Manage incoming and outgoing support requests related to network and business infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and support at the FDA White Oak location.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and triage production and non-production software, applications, services, and network issues.

Requirements

• High School diploma plus some advanced training; minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Cisco networking skills.
• 1-3 years of NOC experience.
• Experience with SolarWinds monitoring.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
