About the position
Infosys is seeking a Node.js Technology Lead with AWS and Microservices experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions on the Dealer Digital systems / Automotive domain processes as per customer's requirements. The selected candidate will be able to lead requirements elicitation, create Application Architecture Documents (AAD), create design artifacts, review team deliverables, deliver high quality code, support deployment and post-deployment related activities, support transition activities, interface with internal teams and key stakeholders, and analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the defined guidelines, policies, and norms.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation and create Application Architecture Document (AAD)
- Create design artifacts and review team deliverables
- Deliver high quality code and support deployment activities
- Support post-deployment activities and transition activities
- Interface with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC
Requirements
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of related work experience
- Excellent in designing and writing code supporting serverless framework using Node.js
- Strong understanding and work experience in JavaScript, Typescript, and Microservice architecture (3 years)
- In-depth knowledge and work experience in Node.js and its APIs (File System, Clusters, Console, OS)
- Ability to develop, integrate, and test REST APIs and design with Swagger documentation
- Ability to write complex queries in relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Ability to design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance
Nice-to-haves
- Working experience in developing frontend using Angular
- Ability to integrate server-side logic into user-facing components created in Angular
- Solid understanding of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
- Ability to transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications
- Experience in AWS developer tools, SDK, CLI tools, VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, Auto scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, RDS, Route 53, Cloud Front, Cloud watch, Cloud Trail
- Knowledge of AWS EC2 Instances provisioning, AWS VPC setup, and AWS Auto Scaling for availability of EC2 Instances and applications
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams (technical, business, and management)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
