About the position

The NodeJS Developer role is focused on developing scalable services and APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies, particularly AWS. The position requires collaboration in an Agile environment and involves monitoring and observability of applications. This hybrid role allows for flexibility with three days of in-office work each week.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable services and APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Implement cloud solutions, preferably with AWS.
• Work in an Agile-based development environment, utilizing CI/CD and TDD practices.
• Monitor and ensure observability of applications.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of NodeJS development with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
• 1+ year of experience in an Agile development environment using CI/CD and TDD.
• Strong experience with monitoring and observability of applications.
• Understanding of various database solutions (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience developing GraphQL APIs.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to product/services development in cloud-based platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at growth mindset and self-development.
• Strong execution and delivery skills, including planning and supporting projects.
• Professional experience with PostGres SQL on AWS.
• Professional experience with DynamoDB and AWS Simple Queuing Services.
