About the position
The NodeJS Developer with AWS Lambda role focuses on leveraging AWS resources to support various cloud development initiatives. The position requires extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and advanced JavaScript programming, particularly in Node.js and TypeScript. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Node.js and AWS services.
- Implement and manage AWS resources such as DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, SQS, and SNS.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
- Monitor application performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.
- Collaborate with teams to follow incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Write and maintain code in JavaScript and TypeScript, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, SQS, and SNS.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in advanced JavaScript, primarily using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
- Expertise in cloud-based architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and GitHub.
