About the position

The NodeJS Developer at Purple Drive Solution is responsible for designing and building core frameworks using Node.js, shared services, NPM packages, and RESTful APIs. This role focuses on translating complex requirements into user-friendly experiences through a user-centered design process, while also creating prototypes and wireframes. The developer will engage in hands-on design, development, deployment, and support of Java/JavaScript-based frameworks, aiming to build scalable solutions that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core frameworks on Node.js, shared services, NPM packages, and RESTful APIs.
• Translate complex requirements into an easy-to-understand user experience.
• Create prototypes and wireframes.
• Engage in hands-on design, development, deployment, and support of Java/JavaScript-based frameworks.
• Build scalable solutions to improve user experience.
• Document and build unit tests for the code.
• Integrate internal and third-party web services and components.
• Identify and assist in mitigating project risks: technical, schedule, and otherwise.
• Work with stakeholders during the requirement gathering and acceptance testing process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js and React.
• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design processes.
• Ability to create prototypes and wireframes.
• Hands-on experience with Java/JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in building scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of unit testing and documentation practices.
