About the position

The NodeJS Developer position is focused on developing, integrating, and testing REST APIs while working with various database technologies and AWS tools. The role requires a solid understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. The developer will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test REST APIs.
• Design and work with Swagger documentation.
• Write complex queries in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
• Work with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
• Transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications.
• Utilize AWS developer tools and services including VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, and more.
• Provision AWS EC2 instances and set up AWS VPC.
• Implement DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Work with Docker components for containerization.
• Collaborate in a global delivery environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in NodeJS and REST API development.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Solid understanding of NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with AWS services and tools (VPC, EC2, S3, etc.).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Strong programming skills in Java IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio).
• Experience with source control tools (GIT Lab, Team Foundation Server).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
