About the position

The Node.js Lead Developer with Angular/AWS experience will be responsible for providing solutions on the Parts Portal systems and processes according to customer requirements. This role involves leading requirements elicitation, creating application architecture documents, designing artifacts, reviewing team deliverables, delivering high-quality code, and supporting deployment and post-deployment activities. The candidate will interface with internal teams and key stakeholders, analyze and resolve issues to ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation for Parts Portal systems.
• Create Application Architecture Document (AAD).
• Develop design artifacts and review team deliverables.
• Deliver high-quality code and support deployment activities.
• Assist in post-deployment and transition activities.
• Interface with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve issues to ensure high-quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading an application development team (6-8 members) in an AWS environment.
• Excellent skills in designing and writing code for serverless frameworks using Node.js.
• Strong understanding and 3 years of work experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• At least 4 years of experience in Node.js and Angular.
• Proficient in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, RXJS, JSON, DOM.
• Experience with Angular versions 7/8/10/14/15, Kendo UI, Angular Material, Bootstrap, jQuery, Docker, and Selenium.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile or rapid application development methods.
• Ability to design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
