About the position

The Node.js Lead Developer will be responsible for leading an application development team focused on creating web, mobile, and desktop applications in an AWS environment. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js and Angular, along with a solid understanding of serverless frameworks and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team, designing optimal data models, and transforming complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead an application development team of 6-8 members in an AWS target environment.
• Design and write code supporting serverless frameworks using Node.js.
• Develop frontend applications using Angular.
• Transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications.
• Design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
• Integrate server-side logic into user-facing components created in Angular.
• Utilize Agile or other rapid application development methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience leading an application development team.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Angular with a minimum of 4 years of experience in each.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, RXJS, JSON, and DOM.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing frontend applications using Angular is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to modern technologies and learn new tools as needed.
• Experience with automation tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Docker components and their functionalities.
