About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified NodeJS Lead Developer with experience in ReactJS to develop and build impactful, scalable enterprise applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software solutions while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. The position emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical mentorship within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Node.js and React.js.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring timely delivery and alignment to project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient codebases adhering to standard processes and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of software solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating them into development processes as appropriate.
• Ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems and third-party services.
• Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Communicate effectively with collaborators providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js and React.js.
• Strong expertise in Bill Inquiry Handling with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and standard methodologies for code quality and maintainability.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
