About The Position

Infosys is seeking a NodeJS Lead Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. This role involves requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design, as well as creating high-level design artifacts. The developer will deliver high-quality code, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The position is based in Austin, TX, and may require travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5 years of experience with UI skills.
• Strong Node.js development skills.
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs using REST API or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with distributed source control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Node.js frameworks (preferably SAP CAP).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), document-oriented databases (MongoDB), and KV-storage (Redis).
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3) and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Familiarity with Docker, Podman, or other container management tools.
