About the position

Infosys is seeking a NodeJS Lead Developer who will play a crucial role in interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position involves requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design, as well as delivering high-quality code and leading validation for all types of testing. The role emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing including unit and integration tests.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Encourage a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are prioritized.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5 years of experience with UI skills.
• Strong Node.js development skills.
• Strong experience in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs using REST API or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of distributed source control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), document-oriented databases (MongoDB), and KV-storage (Redis).
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3) and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Experience with Docker or other container management tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with frameworks available for Node.js (preferably SAP CAP).
• Strong understanding of software best practices, data structures, algorithms, databases, and networks.
