About the position

The NodeJS/ReactJS FS Developer role at Brillio involves working as a consultant within the Vertical team to define digital strategies and execution roadmaps for clients. The position requires designing and implementing digital solutions that deliver measurable value, with a focus on developing robust and scalable RESTful API services using Node.js and React.js. The developer will interact directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical stories, while also ensuring adherence to performance, scalability, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to define digital strategy and execution roadmap.
• Design and implement differentiated digital solutions.
• Develop robust and scalable RESTful API services using Node.js.
• Interact with customer Product Owner to understand requirements and create high-level designs.
• Convert understanding into technical stories in JIRA.
• Implement non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to programming standards.
• Provide timely responses to client inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Overall six plus years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (NoSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript and NestJS.
• Familiarity with Docker and Jest.
• Experience in cross-platform development.
