About the position

Infosys is seeking a Node.js Technology Analyst with expertise in AWS and Microsoft Windows. This position is primarily responsible for providing solutions on the Dealer Digital systems and processes according to customer requirements. The selected candidate will lead requirements elicitation, create Application Architecture Documents (AAD), and design artifacts. They will review team deliverables, deliver high-quality code, and support deployment and post-deployment activities. Additionally, the candidate will support transition activities, interface with internal teams and key stakeholders, and analyze and resolve issues to ensure high-quality deliverables at each stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within defined guidelines, policies, and norms. The ideal candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX, or be willing to relocate. A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. The candidate should have at least four years of related work experience, with a minimum of two years leading application development for AWS target environments, including web, mobile, and desktop applications. The candidate should excel in designing and writing code that supports a serverless framework using Node.js and have a strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, with at least two years of experience in each. Experience with microservice architecture, in-depth knowledge of Node.js and its APIs, and the ability to develop, integrate, and test REST APIs are essential. The candidate should also be proficient in designing and working with Swagger documentation and writing complex queries in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Familiarity with Agile or other rapid application development methods is required, along with the ability to design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance. A solid understanding of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and DynamoDB is also necessary. The candidate must be capable of transforming complex business requirements into technical design specifications and have experience with AWS developer tools, SDK, CLI tools, and various AWS services such as VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, Auto Scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail. Knowledge of AWS EC2 instance provisioning, VPC setup, and Auto Scaling for application availability is crucial. The candidate should have experience in DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) tools like Jenkins, as well as knowledge of Docker components. Proficiency in programming with different Java IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, and Visual Studio is expected, along with expertise in source control and deployment tools like GIT Lab and Team Foundation Server. The candidate should be adaptable to modern technologies, eager to learn new tools and applications, and flexible according to project needs. Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and teamwork are essential. The role also requires good working experience with automation process tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading application development for AWS target environments (Web/Mobile/Desktop applications).
  • Excellent in designing and writing code supporting serverless framework using Node.js.
  • Strong understanding and work experience of 2 years in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Work experience of 2 years in microservice architecture.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and work experience in Node.js and its APIs (e.g., File System, Clusters, Console, OS).
  • Ability to develop, integrate, and test REST APIs.
  • Ability to design and work with Swagger documentation.
  • Ability to write complex queries in relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
  • Ability to design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
