About the position

The Node.js Backend Developer with AWS role involves developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js and AWS technologies. The position requires strong skills in database management, performance tuning, and API development, with a focus on creating efficient and scalable solutions for cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Restful API endpoints using Node.js and Express framework.
• Write endpoints request queries using Postgres SQL.
• Create and manage databases hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• Conduct performance tuning of applications and databases.
• Write unit test cases using Jest and SuperTest to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile Development meetings including daily standups and sprint reviews.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaboration on projects.
• Track project progress using Jira.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Node.js and AWS.
• Strong database skills, particularly with Postgres SQL.
• Experience in performance tuning of applications.
• Ability to write and manage RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools for job description enhancement.
