About the position

The Node.js Developer / Python Developer position at Randstad US is a permanent role based in Irving, Texas, focused on developing and deploying applications using modern technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating applications to Kubernetes-based platforms and ensuring efficient CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy applications using Node.js and Python.
• Migrate applications from PCF/TAS/TKGI to OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Implement microservices and RESTful APIs in application development.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, and Harness.

Requirements

• Strong experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience in development and deployment of applications in Node.js, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development practices.
• Proven experience migrating applications from PCF/TAS/TKGI to OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Proficient in OpenShift and understanding of pod communication.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.

Nice-to-haves
