About the position
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations. The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is on an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and merchandise the company's products in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Assist with stocking products on the shelf or back-stock area per account needs
- Rotate all products according to company standards
- Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to move beverages from inventor pallets to sales pallets
- Listen to an automated 'voice pick' system, directing you where to go throughout the warehouse
- Shrink wrap palleted loads
- Move pallets throughout the warehouse and load them onto trucks
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
- Must be able to lift 25-35lbs regularly, and 160lbs to waist level
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices
