About the position

The Non-Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor position at Whitetail Resort offers an exciting opportunity to teach snowsports to guests of all ages in a fun and safe environment. Instructors will provide quality ski and snowboard instruction while delivering exceptional guest service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the outdoors and looking to create memorable experiences for guests, particularly children.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Deliver world-class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 0+ years of experience required
• Comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain
• Willingness to work with guests of all ages, especially children aged 3 and older
• Fluent communication in English
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods
• Successful completion of training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
