About the position

As a Non-Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor at Northstar California Resort, you will have the opportunity to teach snowsports to guests of all ages in a fun and safe environment. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about the outdoors and enjoy working with people, especially children. You will be part of a team that values guest service and provides quality instruction while enjoying the beautiful mountain setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Deliver world-class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 0+ years of experience required
• Must be comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Strong communication skills
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods of time
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
