About the position
The Non-Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor position at Vail Resorts offers an exciting opportunity to teach snowsports to guests of all ages in a fun and safe environment. Instructors will provide quality ski and snowboard instruction while delivering exceptional guest service, contributing to a memorable experience for visitors. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the outdoors and looking to build connections with teammates and guests from around the world.
Responsibilities
- Teach group and private lessons
- Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
- Deliver world-class guest service
- Create a safe and fun learning environment
- Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
- Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 0+ years of experience required
- Must be comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain
- Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods of time
