About the position
The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking a Non-Credit Adjunct Instructor for Project Management at Camp Zama, Japan. This role involves teaching non-credit courses aimed at helping learners achieve certification in Project Management. Instructors will deliver essential skills and knowledge, assess student needs, and perform basic administrative duties related to student performance.
Responsibilities
- Teach non-credit Project Management courses focused on certification achievement.
- Deliver fundamental Project Management skills, knowledge, and abilities to learners.
- Assess learner strengths and needs on their journey to earning industry certifications in Project Management.
- Perform basic administrative duties related to monitoring the academic performance of students.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or equivalent.
- Documented Project Management experience (certification, professional, or educational).
- Experience teaching adult learners in a classroom environment.
- Local applicants must possess a U.S. military ID card and SOFA.
Nice-to-haves
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Demonstrated Project Leadership experience.
