About The Position

The Non-Destructive Evaluation Engineering Internship at Constellation is designed for engineering students to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. This paid internship will last for 10 weeks, providing students with the opportunity to work on specific projects that contribute to the company's clean energy initiatives while developing their technical and professional skills.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering Program for Fall 2025.
  • Major in Non-Destructive Evaluation/Testing Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 cumulative and 3.0 in major.
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work on specific engineering projects under the guidance of a supervisor and technical mentor.
  • Participate in Cooling Tower Drone Inspections.
  • Conduct Nuclear Core Analysis.
  • Design Control Circuit Wiring for Feedwater Pump.
  • Perform Thermal Overload Calculations for Motor Operated Valves.
  • Upgrade Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation.
  • Calculate Weld Overlays on Feedwater Heater.
  • Engage in the Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project.
