About the position
The Non-Emergency Medical Transport Professional role involves providing safe and timely transportation for patients to medical appointments and treatment facilities in the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County area. This position is suited for experienced Independent Contractors who possess the necessary qualifications and licenses to operate in this field.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe and timely transportation of patients to and from medical appointments, special services, and treatment centers.
- Coached on how to operate vans equipped with wheelchair lifts and ramps.
- Sanitize the vehicle throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Experience with non-medical patient transport.
- Valid Florida HACK license.
- Must have an LLC or Corporation.
- Clean driving record.
- Pass drug screening and criminal background check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
- CPR certified.
- Excellent customer service skills.
