About the position
Guthrie is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship trained Cardiologist to join its experienced Cardiovascular team at Cortland. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a well-established Cardiology practice, providing both inpatient and outpatient care at co-located facilities. The role emphasizes work-life balance with a traditional Monday through Friday schedule and comfortable general cardiology call. The successful candidate will have access to a robust clinical research program and a full spectrum of cardiac and vascular testing and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a co-located facility.
- Participate in a robust clinical research program.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Engage in medical student education and mentorship.
- Contribute to the development of clinical academic appointments.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Fellowship training in Cardiology
- Strong clinical skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in advanced cardiac imaging
- Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures
- Interest in participating in clinical research.
