About the position

The Non-Medical Caregiver position at A Friend In Need Home Care involves providing essential non-medical support to clients in their homes. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and ensure the well-being of clients in the Johnson and Wyandotte county area. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings

Requirements

• Experience in patient care, preferably in home care or nursing home settings
• Knowledge of patient monitoring and first aid procedures
• Familiarity with CPR techniques
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Understanding of home community care practices
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's License
