About the position

The North America Financial Institutions Industry Leader is a strategic executive role focused on driving sales growth and delivering innovative solutions for Financial Institutions clients. This position involves leading a dynamic team, engaging with industry stakeholders, and representing Aon in strategic business initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration, thought leadership, and the development of new solutions to enhance client experiences and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive incremental sales growth for the Financial Institutions industry.
  • Manage and drive accountability for sales activity within the industry.
  • Develop, plan, and implement industry-specific sales strategies with market sales leaders.
  • Collaborate with other leaders within Aon on cross-practice sales initiatives.
  • Represent the practice in strategic business initiatives and innovative solutions.
  • Host industry events and periodic calls for clients and prospects.
  • Develop innovative solutions for clients that result in revenue growth.
  • Provide practice and thought leadership at a national level.
  • Identify opportunities for team development and improved client experiences.
  • Author white papers and other industry collateral.
  • Expand current client relationships and identify new client opportunities.
  • Participate in RFPs and deal coaching.
  • Meet with Aon teams to discuss industry-specific topics.
  • Engage with current clients to provide industry insights.
  • Contribute to high-profile initiatives that impact the business.
  • Recruit, retain, and engage a diverse team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Postgraduate degree or comparable business experience.
  • Proven experience as a strategic problem solver in the financial institutions industry.
  • Established relationships within the industry.
  • Demonstrated record of leading dynamic teams.

  • Experience in hosting industry events and calls.
