About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and implement enhanced strategic sourcing policies and processes within the North American Customer Service Business Unit. This role focuses on creating cost savings and value creation opportunities, negotiating favorable contract pricing with key suppliers, and overseeing the Customer Service sourcing team. The position allows for hybrid work arrangements.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and professional development to the BU Strategic Sourcing team.
• Ensure training and implementation of Strategic Sourcing skills processes including Analytics and Insights, Negotiation Training, Project Management, and Operational Excellence.
• Develop, monitor, and control the execution of strategic purchasing strategies for Customer Service.
• Analyze risks and opportunities in the strategic purchasing process.
• Review strategies directed by Global Category leaders and execute strategies based on Customer Service requirements and needs.
• Implement changes in the supplier base based on proposals from Category leaders or analysis of market conditions and pricing.
• Lead others in solving complex analytical problems.
• Strategically negotiate complex details and use sound judgment and initiative in decision-making.
• Build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
• Redirect managers and teams toward new ideas and approaches in rapidly changing conditions.
• Communicate a strategic vision effectively and clearly.
• Promote a process-based approach and risk-based thinking in the strategic purchasing process.
