About the position

The North East Regional Steel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development and sales for a family-owned steel fabricator operating in the Eastern United States. This remote position requires the candidate to be located in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania and to have established contacts within the steel industry. The role involves working closely with a sales and estimating team to achieve significant annual sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the regional sales manager for the North East.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fabricators, erectors, and general contractors.
  • Negotiate scopes and contracts with clients.
  • Provide expertise in pricing structural steel work.
  • Collaborate with the sales and estimating team to meet sales goals.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales and estimating for a structural steel fabricator.
  • Strong relationships with major national and regional contractors and erection subcontractors.
  • Ability to sell more than $25 million annually.
