About the position

The SLED Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sectors in the Northwestern U.S. This fully remote role requires the candidate to be located in the Northwestern part of the U.S. to facilitate customer visits. The position involves developing strategic sales plans, building relationships with public sector clients, and advocating for Intel's semiconductor solutions. The successful candidate will also lead initiatives for digital transformation and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Gather customer and partner feedback to understand satisfaction drivers.
  • Determine root causes for issues and establish recovery action plans.
  • Contribute to joint marketing activities with enterprise customers.
  • Influence and advocate for Intel products and solutions to SLED customers.
  • Work with Intel resources and partner sales teams to drive product purchases.
  • Drive strategies for winning Digital Transformation initiatives for SLED customers.
  • Own executive briefings and sponsorships for assigned accounts.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify growth opportunities through account planning.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Public Sector sales, preferably in SLED.
  • Experience managing a growth-focused indirect sales team.
  • Strong understanding of technology landscape in the SLED space.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales results.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business or STEM fields.
  • Experience analyzing data to maximize sales growth opportunities.
  • Experience in forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
