About the position

The SLED Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sectors by developing and executing strategic sales plans. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with public sector clients, advocating for Intel's products, and collaborating with partners to deliver innovative semiconductor solutions. The position is fully remote but requires the candidate to be located in the Northwestern U.S. to facilitate customer visits and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Gather customer and partner feedback to understand satisfaction drivers.
  • Determine root causes for issues and establish recovery action plans to improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to joint marketing activities with enterprise customers.
  • Influence and advocate for Intel-based products and solutions to SLED customers.
  • Work with Intel resources and partner sales teams to drive product purchases in the SLED market.
  • Drive strategies for winning Digital Transformation initiatives for SLED customers.
  • Own executive briefings and sponsorships for assigned accounts.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning.
  • Meet and exceed demand generation targets and forecasting goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Public Sector sales, preferably in SLED.
  • Experience leading SLED sales teams in processing technology, IT, OT, or networking industries.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to influence customers and partner ecosystems to drive sales growth.
  • Experience managing a growth-focused indirect team of resources.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts applied to Government entities.
