The position is for a part-time Substitute/Float Teacher at Small Hands Big Dreams Learning Center, aimed at providing flexible childcare support. Responsibilities

• Active supervision of children while implementing activity plans based on their interests.
• Managing classroom and guiding children to help support learning goals and adjust to the appropriate developmental level.
• Adapt to program to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Communicate children's day/highlights with parents.
• Promote SHBD philosophy and educational objectives.
• Be a team player.
• Collaborate with building leaders to ensure ratios are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or working towards it.
• Entry level experience in Early Childhood Education.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with children ages 18 months to 5 years.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for helping children learn and grow.
