About the position

DepoMate is seeking a reliable Notary Public to record depositions, primarily remotely, with occasional in-person assignments in the San Diego area or other locations throughout California. The role involves managing audio/video equipment for legal proceedings to ensure top-quality recordings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio/video equipment for depositions (equipment/software depends on whether remote or in-person).
• Work primarily remote, with travel to San Diego-area offices for in-person assignments as needed.
• Arrive at in-person job sites 1 hour before scheduled start time (dependability is key).
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide client guidance on videography services.

Requirements

• Active Notary Public.
• No experience with audio/video equipment setup and operation required, only willingness to learn.
• Available for remote work, and possible in-person work.
• A home workspace with high-speed internet for remote tasks.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Legal videography experience is a plus (training provided).
