The Administrative Coordinator at TJ Maxx plays a vital role in supporting store management with various administrative functions, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining store organization. Responsibilities

  • Supports store management in executing store-related administrative functions.
  • Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean store.
  • Takes an active role in the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
  • Maintains Associate personnel files and performs daily cash office functions.
  • Supports the Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling and supply inventory.
  • Maintains proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
  • Communicates effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to enhance effectiveness.
  • Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.

Requirements

  • 1 year of retail experience
  • 6 months of leadership experience
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends
  • Team player capable of training others
