About the position

Life Alert Emergency Response is currently seeking dedicated entry-level Data Entry Administrative Operators for our Encino, California call center. This is an entry-level position, and we will provide training to the selected candidates. The work hours for this position require availability to work weekends, with shifts available in both day and evening formats. The day shift runs from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, while the swing shift is from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Compensation for this role ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on work history and experience. As a Data Entry Administrative Operator, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound telephone calls to new subscribers, verifying and entering subscriber account information, and performing light data entry of updated customer information. Maintaining confidentiality of information obtained during employment is crucial in this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with a positive tone.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas and processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior stability in employment and customer service experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge or skills in Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual or Spanish speakers are a plus.
