Music Lab Folsom is seeking talented and experienced part-time instructors for various musical instruments including Guitar, Drum, Piano, Voice, Sax, and Violin. The role involves teaching structured music lessons to students of different ages and skill levels, creating lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are personable, outgoing, and passionate about music education.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create and implement lesson plans, assign homework
• Provide instruction in a variety of musical instruments and genres
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience instructing students
• Strong knowledge of music theory and playing technique
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching music and working with mostly young students (mostly ages 5-16)
• Fun, cheerful, outgoing personality, people-person preferred
