About the position

We are seeking Team Leaders for Jack in the Box at our Carlsbad location. This part-time role involves supervising and training team members to ensure a high-quality guest experience through excellent service, quality food, and a clean environment. The Team Leader will set an example for the team, handle guest complaints, and maintain restaurant cleanliness while motivating employees to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

• Set the example by maintaining visibility and interacting with guests.
• Model a 'guest comes first' attitude and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Ensure the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all orders.
• Handle guest complaints effectively using the C A R E model.
• Interact effectively with diverse groups of people without displaying biases.
• Create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment.
• Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance.
• Provide feedback and recognition to team members.
• Supervise and train team members on workstation operations.
• Delegate work and follow up appropriately.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness inside and outside.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service business preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have transportation to and from work.
