About the position
Chelsea's Home Healthcare is seeking a reliable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in Buena Park, CA. This full-time position involves working closely with a 4-month-old female patient who has a G-tube, ensuring her health and comfort in a home setting. The role includes monitoring the patient's status, maintaining activities of daily living (ADL), administering medication, and providing feeding and breathing treatments. Paid training and orientation will be provided, along with supervision from an RN Case Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in a home setting.
- Monitor the patient's health status and report any changes.
- Maintain activities of daily living (ADL) for the patient.
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Feed the patient via pump and provide breathing treatments.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Current physical examination.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
