About The Position

Renown Health is seeking a full-time Nocturnist Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Medical Intensivist team at a Level II Trauma Center in Reno, NV. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team to provide critical care to patients during night shifts, ensuring high-quality medical support in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a block schedule of 7 on/7 off, allowing for a sustainable work-life balance while working in a state-of-the-art facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume ICU, preferably in a Nocturnist role.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) course through the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
• Proven capability to work independently as the first call provider on shift.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Medical Intensivist Team to provide patient care during night shifts.
• Manage cross-cover rounding at night for the Critical Care Medicine Service.
• Float to all ICU floors as needed and perform bedside procedures to stabilize/manage patients.
• Take first call for ICUs only during shifts.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
