About the position

Keysight is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. As an NPI Engineer, you will apply your Electrical Engineering and measurement knowledge to a variety of focused hands-on projects. You will be part of an instrumental product development team that designs, develops, and tests RF and microwave test equipment. This role requires a self-motivated engineer who thrives in a fast-paced development environment and is equally comfortable writing production test code as well as troubleshooting hardware issues. The ideal candidate is one who is equally comfortable with hands-on hardware testing and software development/test automation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features, designing and implementing calibration algorithms, and developing, debugging, evaluating, and executing validation and verification tests. You will also design, develop, debug, and turn-on test boards and test fixtures for the purpose of Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Managing instrument hardware and the measurement, characterization, and calibration processes used during the NPI development phase and into production will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will design and/or modify test stations, analyze test data, and make product specification recommendations. Creating technical documentation, reviewing and evaluating production line specifications based on statistical data analysis, and specifying components that make up the products are also part of your responsibilities. You will manage and guide the transition of products and manufacturing processes into production and through the entire life cycle of the product. After product release, you will continue to manage engineering responsibilities for the system, hardware, and production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features.
  • Design and implement calibration algorithms.
  • Design, develop, debug, evaluate, and execute validation and verification tests.
