About the position
The NPI Test Engineer role focuses on updating, maintaining, and refactoring manufacturing test scripts, as well as creating new test cases based on evolving requirements. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize existing tests and ensure user-friendliness, while also executing software validation protocols for manufacturing tests.
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and refactor manufacturing test scripts.
- Create test cases and develop new manufacturing tests based on new requirements.
- Participate in code reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize existing manufacturing tests to improve user-friendliness.
- Create and execute software validation protocols for manufacturing tests.
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, or 3 to 5 years of working experience in Software or Manufacturing Test development.
- Proficient with Python and Object-oriented programming.
- Experience with testing robotic hardware such as motors and encoders is preferred.
- Experience working in medical devices is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux are preferred.
