About the position
The NPL Foreman at NPL Construction is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing gas utility projects. This position involves coordinating equipment and crews, ensuring safety and quality of work, and providing training and support to team members. The foreman plays a crucial role in executing tasks efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate equipment and crews from start to finish ensuring resources are in place and the job is completed safely
- Coach on proper use and process to ensure safety and quality of work
- Oversee Dig Safe marking and coordinate any issues with utilities
- Support the crew by operating equipment, pipefitting, and laboring to exhibit teamwork
- Complete paperwork, reports, and status updates
- Resolve work problems
- Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in gas utility industry
