About the position

The OpenText DevOps Engineer will develop technical solutions for large-scale OpenText Content Server systems, ensuring optimal integration and functionality. This role involves designing, planning, and coordinating work within teams, providing technical support, and ensuring stable operation of OpenText software systems. The engineer will also be responsible for handling complex application features, providing maintenance support, and aligning technology direction with business vision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions for large-scale OpenText Content Server and complex interfaces.
  • Identify technical standards and develop system requirements and program specifications for OpenText solutions.
  • Integrate Content Server for specialized functions to optimize solutions for customers.
  • Design, plan, and coordinate work within project teams.
  • Provide technical support to project team members and handle complex application features.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure stable operation of in-house OpenText software systems and network connections.
  • Analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues.
  • Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
  • Provide local and remote maintenance support to operational systems deployed at multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in Information Processing, with two years specialized in OpenText software.
  • Two (2) years of experience in OpenText systems containing PII, PHI, and HIPAA information in a multi-tenant Government environment.
  • Proficient in all .NET languages and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Experience with DevOps services using IaaS providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, GitHub, Chef, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations.

Nice-to-haves

  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II: CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • OpenText Content Server System Administrator Certification 20.x or greater.
