About the position

Mavis Tire is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in Winchester, VA. As part of the Mavis Tires Family, which boasts over 2,000 retail locations, we are one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Automotive Alignment Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by using the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on vehicles. This involves measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure that serviced vehicles travel straight and true. In addition to alignment services, our technicians are responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, performing oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs. Responsibilities

  • Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
  • Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear.
  • Complete state-mandated inspections and perform oil and filter changes.
  • Conduct flat repairs and any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the highest quality service.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Nice-to-haves
